1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Boat Skill's Florida Boating Safety Course website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Course Description

Boat Skill provides an online Florida Boating Safety Education Course that meets the requirements of Florida law s. 327.395 F.S. The course includes educational content, quizzes, and a final examination. Upon successful completion (80% or higher on the final exam), students receive a temporary certificate valid for 90 days.

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. By registering for our course, you represent that you meet this age requirement. Parents or guardians may register on behalf of minors.

4. Course Fees and Refunds

The course fee is $24.95 and includes:

• Unlimited access to course materials

• Unlimited exam retakes

• Instant temporary certificate upon passing

• Processing of permanent card through FWC

Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase if you have not completed the final exam. Once you pass the final exam and receive your certificate, no refunds will be issued.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration

• Complete the course material yourself

• Not share your account credentials with others

• Not attempt to circumvent or manipulate the exam process

6. Certificate and Card Issuance

Upon passing the final exam, you will receive a temporary certificate that is valid for 90 days. Your information will be submitted to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) for processing of your permanent Boating Safety Education ID Card. Boat Skill is not responsible for delays in mail delivery or processing by the FWC.

7. Intellectual Property

All course content, including text, images, videos, and quizzes, is the property of Boat Skill or its licensors and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

8. Privacy Policy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to our privacy practices.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we do not guarantee that our course will meet all your requirements or that it will be error-free.

10. Limitation of Liability

Boat Skill shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the course.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms or engage in fraudulent or illegal activities. Upon termination, your access to course materials will be revoked.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through our website. Your continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
